Overall Summary : A Must for Fans of the old-school show.

Ratings:
Artwork/Design : 5
Production Quality : 5
Value for money : 4

Pros:

-The choice of paint. The skin and hair have a nice matt non-shine finish, where as the uniform has an attractive pearlescent shimmer. The boots I love the glossy PVC effect on the boots and the gradient of the main colour dissolves into darker shades around the folds of the fabric.
-The sculpting. By far the best aspect of this statue for me is the 3-dimensional spirals of the ponytails. It reminds me more of the manga version of the character.
-The Accessories. I really like how the red gems (bun protectors...or whatever they are) and the top of her sceptre are made from a transparent material, making them look like actual gemstones.

Cons:

-The stand. The crescent moon shaped stand is made of a transparent material which isn't very flattering as you can clearly see all the seams and supporting lines underneath. It's not too clear to make out in most of the photos for this product. They might as well of painted it or made it out of an opaque material.
-The pose. Giving credit that it IS accurate to the attack she uses in the show, that elbow joint she's using to hold the sceptre is a little bit distracting.

Other Thoughts:

I've always wanted a Sailor Moon statue in my collection as they are so rare and hard to come by nowadays and the only other ones I have seen for sale are insanely expensive. So for me the price of this statue is pretty reasonable. I look forward to seeing if they will give all the other Sailor Senshi the same treatment. Sailor Mercury due out in September looks very promising too, again sticking with the attack pose theme.
